    Engine compartment, dash panel, and a shot of the back. Did some jeeps come with a fixed tailgate, or "trunk". Mine doesn't come down.:?

    yea some were fixed.

    it is possible somone swaped a m38a1 tub on yours, does your tub say JEEP on the. it is more comon to find fixed gates on 76+ cj's but im pretty sure they were a few pre 75's with fixed gates
