t98 front bearing

    hi the front bearing in a t98 is it a tapered roller bearing ? my bearing retainer is not machined for a race like im familiar with it also does not have a pivot for the fork it is an adapter for a f134 thanks

    There were two bearing retainers for the Jeep t-98. They look identical (almost)

    The four cylinder has, of course a smaller ID. It also has two bosses in which the pivot ball is inserted.

    The six cylinder application has a larger ID, and NO boss for the pivot ball insert.

    Sounds like you may have a mix-mash of parts there???

    i think your right looks like the parts i have are for a v6 any idea where i can get the 4cyl parts thanks
