    Bone$, dang... and I thought my Jeep had been painted that colour by one of the previous owners :beer:

    I just picked up my first Jeep a month or so ago... in really rough shape... frame and motor are good... but definately will be following your thread to give me some ideas on my frame up that I'll be starting this winter. Looking forward to seeing progress pics :) :)

    I have owned 4 CJ5's and 3 of them came to me painted that orange color, at least 1 from the factory. In fact my current Jeep is that color not sure if it is original though. Must have been popular in the early 70's.
