I'm working to replace my fuel line. The JC Whitney tank I bought 9 years ago has a drain that I can use a master cylinder brake line adapter to adapt to 3/8" hard fuel lines. Or the current fuel line fitting on the tank accepts 1/4" hard line. Both the drain and the fuel outlet are in close proximity to each other on the bottom of the tank.

Since the OEM replacement fuel pump I purchased has 3/8" fittings I'm leaning towards switching the drain and the hard line fittings.

Thoughts? Would a 1/4" hard line be large enough for a V6? I will be using rubber line from my filter to the fuel pump to allow for flex/vibration.

there isn't a 225 out there that can outsuck a 1/4" fuel line. I would be comfortable with either size.
