I have a 68 CJ5, bone stock and just purchased a Koenig pto, shafts and winch for it but without mounting hardware. Does anyone have any drawings of the Koenig or Jeep winch mounting hardware and mounting points? I want to go and look for used or have the pieces fabricated. I want it to retain the factory original look and use factory original parts or fabricated copies.

There are two styles of Koenig winches. One that mounts to the front and back, and one that mounts from the bottom. Here is a pic of the front mount and stock fairlead for the front and back mount style. Sorry but I don't have a pic handy of the rear mount or the bottom mount style. Nickmil

I can get some pics of my Koenig installation so you can start from there. Send me your email so I can send them to you. Hopefully tomorrow. First you have to remove the tailpipe that goes over the crossmember, the driveshaft will mount thruogh that area. Send me pics of what you have so I can help you identify them.

    Gentlemen,

Thanks for the great assistance, it turns out I first purchased a model 41 pto and winch and shafts for a Willy's pickup. I have been fortunate to find another complete model 51 pto, shafts with pillow block, front and rear mounting style winch with all Koenig attaching hardware. These pictures will be very handy when it gets here.
The model 41 components for Willys pickup or van are up for sale.

The Koenig I have in my 61 F-head was originally in an FC as I recall. It sits down in between the rails, and has a straight driveshaft with just two U-joints. Not bone stock, but it works, just in case you need an alternative.
