Flat ground, with about a 5 mile run - at that point, still had the points type igniton, stock coil, but I did install an open element K&N filter in place of the oil bath air cleaner - (about 3 weeks after that I spun #3 rod bearing)......
When I get the new crank installed, I will be installing the pertronix unit, and an MSD 6 plus ignition box, wires and high output coil -
I'll let you guys know how she does after that........

Lil Blue has 4.27s with the F-head and the T90a. I was able to easily push 60+ with it screaming. Add the OD and it was hard to keep it steady at 65 with wind and hills. Thats with 31" MTs
My truck with that 105hp, and stock tires with 4.88s can hold 65 fine.

Well I just checked to confirm my gear ratio on the 66 it is 3.73
On my 65 it is 5.38 and on my 64 it is 4.27 so I guess I will be using Droopy Drawers as a doner jeep. Just to conform I checked it right ,what I did was jacked up the rear and counted how many times the drive shaft turned for 2 complete turns of the tire. The 64 was 4 1/4 turns, the 65 was 5 3/8 turns ,and the 66 was 3 3/4 turns. Was this correct?:)

I just got my 64 together (f-134/t98/4.27/31 10.50 tires) and hit sixty mph with no problem. Then I started up a slight grade and fell to 40 mph giving her all she had. Maybe its time for an engine upgrade.
