Those Herc's are cool looking, wish I had known about them when I bought my tires last year.

You shoulda asked ;) I think TIMGR pointed those out a year or two back. I would have probably tried to get them if they offered a slightly larger tire. 30x9's would have looked a little small with my fresh 2.5" lift. For a stock height JEEP I think they would be a good tire.

Cooper has basically the same tire pattern in 16":

    Courser Traction LT 7.50-16LT 0 0 D BLK 5.5 - 7 6 9.11 32.2 7.25 2440 19

Go to www.coopertire.com, click on their light truck tires and scroll to the Courser Traction LT. You'll end up with basically a 32x9.5 though, not sure if you wanted to go that big.

thats a cool tire. about the size i was looking for,

how much turning radius will i loose with a 32" tire on the stock 16" KH wheel. what about with a 31" NDT? the NDT's are pretty skinney so im guessing they wouldint rub as much

Had that Cooper on my '62. I don't see how you'd loose any turning radius. It's only 7.5" wide.

I agree. Mine are about the exact same size (235/85/16 roughly = 32x9.25 with 7" tread width) as these Cooper's, and turning radias is not an issue.

    Come on now Glenn,
You expect me to believe that their is a Jeep built before 72 that has 2 WORKING wipers (mother-in-law mechanicals not included)?
I sincerly apoligize for how that previous post sounded I was NOT trying to be a Smartass but it sure sounded that way didn't it?
    Sorry

NDT tires have lousy traction, unless you run them almost airless. Most people who buy them want authentic looks more than grip. IMHO.

On my old CJ5s a 7:00x16 tire is just right, a 7:50x16 rubs just a little on the front springs at full lock and the inside rear fenders, when flexed. But 7:00 traction tires are just about vanished from the face of the earth.
