OK, just installed my pressure switch and checked it out. Brake lights work when the driving lights are off, but the lights do not get brighter when the driving lights are on. Any suggestions??

    Thank You, Rob

Sounds like the brake light switch is connected to the driving lights bulb filament instead of the brake light filiament (which is appreciably brighter). That'd make sense why you're experiencing those symptoms.

I've seen this happen when the bulb is installed the wrong way in the socket. Look at the small tabs on the bulb base. One is closer to the glass bulb than the other. The socket is designed the same way... be sure the bulb goes in the right way... some sockets allow the bulb to go in the wrong way, then the wrong filament lights.

Thanks Guys, I went out last night and played mix & match with all the wires running to the tail lights and after about 40 minutes I hit the right combination. My Dad or Grandfather did some home wiring to fix things back there some time in the past so I had to do some detective work on the wires and unwrap some black tape bundles. Everything is working correctly now.

    Reguards, Rob
