As much as I hate to ask, i'd like to put a 1" BL on and wondered if a regular cj5-7 body lift would work. Thanks.

While you guys are looking, whats the weird glass jar thing that says "Detroit" something on top? And what the "Marvel mystery oil" oiler thats included? I bought a 70 jeepster with no motor and a lot of junk.

Ther won't be enough pucks in a CJ body lift. Buy a 2" lift and cut the pucks in half. Gives you the proper amount. You can also taper the pucks using this method to get rid of the "saggy butt" feel. Cut the backs a bit longer and the fronts obviuosly will be a bit shorter.

There are a couple guys selling Jeepster Commando body busings that give a lift. I bought one from Carnage Offroad. The kit was GREAT! Good quality and even super clear install directions (not someting I was expecting from a simple body lift).
If you like to save the cash, you can always use the boat roller stick technique. I did that on my jeepster a couple years ago and it worked well. Just buy the boat roller sticks in 12" leingth and cut them to the size you want. You can get the boat roller in the right diameter and everything. Check out West Marine online for the rollers. If you need the actual part numbers for the boat rollers, I have those too!

For just an inch or so of body lift we alway just use hockey pucks because they are cheap and they are 1" thick. I have never thought about the boat roller sticks before but it sounds like a pretty good idea. I might have to check that one out.

I just ordered the boat rollers to make my own kit since Carnage seems to have fallen off the face of the earth.
