I still can't get power anywhere. The Starter Solenoid is on the fender so is the brain I have 2 wires going to the alternator and 1 from the batter and and 1 wire going to the starter. There is 1 copper screw stud on the back of the alternator and 2 wires off the solenoid are going to it and 1 black bolt
with a wire going to the starter. What is the deal

Wires DO break inside the insulation, and everything looks fine on the outside. It's a maddening problem to deal with too. Check each wire with an ohmmeter for continuity end-to-end, you might find a wire broken somewhere. Especially if the PO used cheapo wire or the wrong kind. Most folks think wire is wire, and any kind will work.

The heater quit in my bro Dave's truck once, and it drove us all nuts because everything looked fine, especially the fuse. But when we put a meter across the fuse, it was open. Found out the fuse didn't blow, but the wire had broke off one end cap.
