tranny swap

    I have a 1971 cj5 with a buick 225 v6,muncie 4 speed & dana 20 transfer. I would like to know if a t15 tranny,bell housing & dana 20 transfer case will bolt right in. the muncie seems to have a to high of first gear. the t15 set up i can get for a reasonably good price.The gear ratio in the axles is 3:73. Any information would be greatly app.

    There was some discussion of the T-15 swap a while back... search or maybe someone will provide a link. Pretty sure that someone here has done it - but it's not a bolt-in.
