engines swap

    can i swap a 196 international scout 4cyl with a t90,in place of my 134 with t90.134 is smoking bad needs a engine up grade.thank you

    With the right amount of money you could swap any engine in. ;)

    The IH 4 cylinder doesn't make an ideal swap though. Too heavy for one.

    My advice is rebuild the F-head, find a good running one, or swap in a V6.

    Actually i think the IH swap would be cool. yes it is a bit heavier and probably about the same as the Fhead in power, but it would be a nice little tractor with it in there :)

    HHHMMM.. those numbers are a bit better than the Fhead.

    Gonna have to save this little bit of info somewhere.

    Let me know if you do the swap and what all you have to go through to do it.

    Either way, put in the t-90 from behind the scout motor. It most likely has the 3.34 first. just need a new input shaft and use the f-head bearing retainer.
