This is just peachy...

Ol' Gus started cuttin' out on me last weekend when the engine got warm. the engine just quits while sittin' at an idle at a stop sign or redlight and then will not start easily witout a roll off. So I've been parts changin' - new ignition coil and fuel filter.

Also decided to rebuild the Rochester 2bbl carb (it's 37 years old and looks as if it's never been touched other than to clean the exterior). I pulled it off the intake manifold and found a big chunk of metal missing from the manifold under the carb. In fact, the two intake ports in the manifold are now one great big intake port.

Guess I need a new intake manifold. I have not been able to find one at my regular sites. Any suggestions on where to get an intake manifold for a 225?
