Rather then trying to revive my old, rusted together clutch, i am just going to redo it, for a smooth clutch that will last a long time. I have a 57 M38A1 with a Dauntless 225 in it. Its a 3sp transmission and my transfer case only has one shifter, and two positions as far as I know. Where should I go to purchase my clutch kit? And whats the deal with the kits for $150 and the performace kits for $350? Which should I get? And any other suggestions such as sand blasting or renting a jack? I also have a cable and planned on putting in a chain linkage with a sproket. Any suggestions? Clutches are uncharted territory for me and I'm sure you all have plenty off little experiences that I will not experience until I'm in the middle of the project. Thanks a bunch. MARK
