WHy do I use Grade for everything? They are the cheapest!!
Running around to get stuff to make shackles today and mount the body. First stop Dillon Supply(google it and locate one near you) 7/16 3" Grade 8 were 38 cents! I could have just bought one for that price! They dont have everything so off to True Value and Lowes They want over a dollar piece for grade 5.

If you dont already know about Dillon Supply then check them out. They carry steel, Metabo power tools, grease stuff. Here in Charleston they are known as Charleston Supply. Dillon is on the reciept.

I get all my grade 8 bolts at TSC (Tractor Supply Co.).The only place I know of you can still buy fasteners by the pound. I think grade 8 stuff is $3.80 lb. Comes out way cheaper than Home Depot. I use their grade 8 on everything because the anti-rust zinc plating as well.
