Bumpers

    hey guys i was looking at bumpers for my 61 i really want to put a set of warn rock bumpers on but they only make it for the later cjs. any ideas? keep in mind i cant do much fabracation and am trying to keep the bugget down. thanks guys

    IIRC, the front is the only one that will bolt right up, but you have to get rid of the big rivets. The back bumper will need some modifications to work.

    If I'm totally out to lunch, someone please chime in and correct me.

    Cross Enterprises makes bumpers that should fit.

    I'm considering their rear tire carrier for my 5.

    the frounts will bolt up? so if i bought like a cj7 bumper it would work?

    You might want to see if anyone on the board has a CJ7 and ask them for measurements just in case. I still have the original front bumper on mine, so I haven't had to change it out. Just going on what I remember from the previous postings on the board.

    May also want to try a search to see if it was covered before. Good luck.
