My Jeep passed inspection!! BUT it probably will not next year due to (Frame rust, cracks etc...) However this is the most fun I'vehad with a vehicle in a long while. I want to get a bikini top for the cj (what's better strapless or traditional?) and the kids love goin muddin'!! I am thinking of having the Jeep redone, ie new frame, wiring harness skid plastes have the motor rebuilt etc... Are there any people in north central Pa that specialize in rebuilding old Jeeps. Are ther any in Pa at all? Any help would be appreciated.-Fozzie

Well Fozzie... where are you in n/c PA? I know there are a couple Jeep guys in/around Blossburg... ask at the NAPA, they'll know.

It will cost alot to have someone "redo" your Jeep including new frame. It's not that hard to do yourself, with the help of the guys on this board... and not nearly as expensive as having someone else do the work. For what you'll spend paying someone to redo your rig, you'd be farther ahead by buying a good used '97/98 TJ... (blasphemy!!) R)
