Found this old picture on the web. It is a '55 with the same color as mine. Crazy how the radiator support rods are even OD like mine. It is Grumpy's brother. Wish I had the hardtop and winch!

What is a hard top like that one worth? I just got one with a Jeep I bought this past weekend. The glass needs replacing but the top and doors are in good shape. Just wondering if it is worth the trouble of hauling home when I pick the Jeep up.

Definately worth hauling it home. I got $400 for mine, but the glass was all intact.

Without glass, and depending on the market in your area, I'd guess it at $200 - $300. The catch is that you almost *have* to find someone local. Not many people who are going to pay a decent price for the top, then pay the HUGE shipping cost to have it mailed to them...

All true I guess. I was going to get it anyway but I guess I wasn't sure why. I already have another one in the barn but it is kinda beat up. I'm not much on the hard tops on a CJ5 but have seen some that don't look bad on this site. I know I wont be using it so if I decide to get rid of it I will let yall know.
