    Hey all.
I am ready to replace my stock" suspension setup on my 2A with an aftermarket setup. My frame has been heavily modified and I wonder if anyone here could provide me with the following measurements from a stock 2A frame... Before I order new springs I need to make sure if I need flattie springs, or early CJ5 springs. I believe the lengths are different? My springs are 1 3/4" wide and still on "C" shackles.

Distance from spring hangers (bolt to bolt)
    Front: Mine are 35 3/4"
    Rear: Mine are 41 1/4"

Also, can someone get me the measurement of the difference in height from the ground between the front and rear front spring hangers.
I have the feeling that my front mounts may be closer to the ground in relation to the rear front hangers, vs stock. If so, maybe I'll be already set for a reverse shackle install...

Just to clarify, my frame was custom built by a previous owner and I'm trying to determine if the dimentions are correct before ordering new springs.

My introductory thread http://www.earlycj5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28321 gives more info on the Jeep in question.

    Thanks!

    Don.

your spring dimensions are correct for front and rear (flatty springs)
I don't quite understand the hangar heigth question
mine are 15" from the very bottom of the hangar to the ground
but tire size/spring lift will change that
somewhere else I can measure for you ?

Thank you! You have a difference of 4" on your front hangars, and I have 3 3/4" and my Jeep's sitting a little low in the rear, so it must be about right.
