Floor supports

Well floor supports or hat channel, looks like I am going to need some. Has any one got any tips on replacement procedures. I have read up on the 1x2x1/8 channel, I will look into that for reinforcement. But I guess I will need to buy some prefab replacements I do not have the means to fab these up right now. After pulling the tub here is what I found.

Hi, I don't think I've ever posted here before. I am from Northeast Texas, and I just bought a 1953 (I think, I can't find the vin #) Cj-5. I am also interested in floor braces as it appears mine are rusted out too.

Boyink, I saw your write up on the channel repair. It looked good. I just have so much of the channel gone till I do not think that will work for me.

BTDT. I had fun changing panals out. Big job. I bought the Classic panals. I got the Floor supports, Floor panals and the Traverse ledge suport. These are really good quality panals. Here is some pictures after I put some primer on the body.

I had to modify the CJ panals a little to fit my M38a1 body. BTW.

Thanks, I found the quality excellent. Ill look and see if I have a pic actually I think I posted a pic a while ago let me do a search .
