I am at the shop and I am having a hard time getting the upper shackle bushings out of the frame. I figured that 30+ year old bushing would just crumble, not the case. Any Ideas on how to remove them?

air chisel to the bushing shell
some folks take a hacksaw blade and cut through the bushing shell, inside out
then you can collapse the shell for removal
some folks have taken a large C clamp and forced the new to push out the old
    methods vary

Chisel and hammer..........hacksaw here. Lots of bruised hands. Have used a torch also to get the rubber out.

    not a fun job.

I did half mine with chisels, hacksaw, etc....then I found the propane torch...it stinks...but it definately works quicker.
