304 exhaust manifolds

I started looking for a set of exhaust mainfolds for my 304. My question is, on the driverside exhaust, is it a center drop exhaust to clear the clutch linkage or will a rear drop work? The guy at the muffler shop said he didn't think they made a center drop for the jeeps and it's been so long since I seen one, I'm at a loss right now. So...any advice is welcome.
Next ? is what would be a good price for a set?

driverside dumped between #5 and #7 cyls
not a true rear or center dump I suppose
in 1980 it changed, don't recall style

I must agree with the many comments on how excellant this site is. Why go anywhere else when all you have to do is ask the experts here. Thanks again for the Info. I did found one that I can get locally. Busy day today changing a wheel bearing and putting new brake pads on my daughters car. If it isn't one project, It's another. Walt
