Ok - Here we go. I have searched and searched, and have found good info. However, I still gotta beat the dead horse....

Just dropped of the CJ-6 at a local shop to have them look at the frame where it is cracked at the steering box mount. I am going to have them repair the frame, as well as repair the pass side shackle mount, as well as box the frame where appropriate. While in the shop the guy told me that if I was planning a lift, now would be the time to do it since they would be "in there" anyways, and may as well not bolt on old stuff, only to remove it later to bolt on new stuff. So this has accelerated my lift kit plans.

Here are my thoughts, with questions:

    1. Black Diamond 3" lift - Cuz of the extra 1/2" compared to other kits to support 33's
    2. Con-Ferr stock replacement shackles (1/2" longer than stock = 1/4" lift) - Are these the way to go, or is there a better way?
    3. Black Diamond shocks that match kit. Are these good shocks?
    4. Should I make any changes while I am at it? For example: Shackle reversal, YJ springs, mount rear springs outboard, etc, etc.??

    Thanks for any help!!

    Sounds like a good plan.
