For those who have these windshields and may have missed my other post...Peter DeBella said he has the gaskets for these. This is the flat rubber gasket that goes around the inner glass frame and seals against the outer steel frame. $50 + $10 shipping.

He said he also has some of these venting windshields in N.O.S. condition, but you have to call him for a price.

Just ordered mine too. He wants us to check them real close against our old ones, to make sure these are the right ones. He said he got some of the windshields in NOS condition, and these gaskets came with them.

Let me know how they match up to the old one. Mine is in good shape but is not original. if it is a match, I will order one.

You might want to order one anyway, I've got the feeling these are rare puppies.

I emailed Rich @ Beachwood about gaskets/parts for these, and he said since they were export windshields that they didn't have the gaskets or any parts for them.

You sure Beachwood isn't talking about windshields for MB/GPW or CJ2A's? When I talked to DeBella, I made damn sure we both understood what the other was talking about, and for CJ5's. He even has some brand-new venting windshields. I'd like to see his stash in person.

Knowing them it IS possible, I was bitching about my canvas for my m-38... I dont think Pete will invite you .. I tried while I was in NJ.. I wanted to sneek over to NY and see him.. I think he has a million square foot building hidden in the ground somewhere.. He is a one man operation, but he sure has taken care of me over the years on military parts that I couldnt get anywhere.. I havent bugged him to much on the cj5 stuff to much, just pestering him to make up a parts book for cj5 stuff.. ( he keeps telling me I am getting to it )... If you get invited there tell him you want to bring a friend with you... I will bring truck and trailer..
