    One more question.

I don't have a charcoal canister. Can I use one from pretty much any year Jeep or does it have to be from the same year as the Jeep/engine? This is for a 304 V8. Thanks.

Pretty sure the canister is a Delco commodity item. They became more complicated with added valves and such (more nipples) from the early '70s through the 80s. However, I think that if you can find one with the right number of vacuum nipples and markings (tank, carb vent, air cleaner snorkle?), it'll work fine.

Hey Pete - look in GM cars of the same era too. Should be almost identical.

Thanks for the tip. That actually works in my favor, since GM cars are much more common in the junkyards of my area than Jeeps.
