Upper steering shaft coupling

    So my 1975 CJ6 with manual steering needs a new steering shaft U-joint. It is the upper joint. I have found the entire coupling online for $65 but all I really need is the U-joint.

    Can I purchase just the U-joint or do I have to buy the whole coupling?


    I did "tech chat" with Quadratec online and they do not offer the U-joint alone, only the entire coupling.

    I got the joint alone from 4wd hardware. Do your self a favor and soak the joint/coupling down with pb blaster for a week before hand it is a real PIA getting the coupling off the shaft.
