I have a 54 International pickup with a very good T98. How hard would it be to swap it into my CJ3?

Ummm I think the IH or is it the jeep that has a unique bolt pattern for the bell housing (I have it wrote down in my jeep notebook at home). The rear Adapter plate is hard to come by and it took me six months to find the correct input shaft for my T-98. If it was a 4wd model I would say with some creativity you could pull it off but I think you are going to have quite a few hurdles to jump with the 2wd IH 98. Maybe someone more knowlegable can jump in with more usefull advise. Wish I could of helped more.

I have sourced that IH has many versions of the T98 and are tuff to find the right adaptors for. I might have got this info from Advance Adptors or Novaks. Several years ago I found the correct T98a with adaptors for my L-134 3a. I ended up selling it and purchasing a 4.86 O'Brian Spicer18 T.C. and keeping my T90.
