Since I'm waiting on more parts for the transfer case and transmission I tore my shifter apart and decided to put the seal plates on that I saw on the 3 B page. Does anybody think that one hacksaw blade width won't be wide enough for oil return around the shift rails? Also can I pick up the pins for the shift forks locally or do I have to order them. And while we're at it has anyone ever brazed or welded the cast iron shift fork to make up for wear? Mine is worn about .050 from holding it up in second. Thanks Todd

You should be good on the oil return passage. I use a Dremel tool with a cutoff wheel to put the groove in my shift rail and havn't had a problem yet.
