Just installed MSD 5 for the '5. :) I like it! One problem though....it seems to confuzzle the dwell meter. Is this a likely side affect? According to the meter my optimal dwell is at ~46*. :? Am I going to have to uninstall the unit and reinstall to stock just to check/set my dwell to 29-30*? :?

Dwell is no longer controlled by the points, it is controlled by the MSD, so long as the points are set to open at least as wide as the original setting they are now only a trigger unit and not the unit that sets the dwell.

    Oh, ok. :?
    :D
So how do you set the dwell then? I had to fudge it trial & error with an allen wrench thru that Delco cap window. You could use a feeler gauge to measure the distance from my knuckles to the fan-of-death in the process. So how then?

You don't, the MSD sets it. Set the gap to the proper gap and leave it.

Set the gap when the engine is OFF! :D
don't need it to be running when you set the gap.
