Hey guys just wondering what I'm going to have to do to make the input shaft on that ford tranny work with the Dauntless V6, also how hard is it to adapt the T-18 to my dana 18 with the adapter kit?

I used the kit from Novak Enterprises. It worked great. It's been a few years since i did it though. I don't rmember having to do anything to the input shaft other than having the bearing retainer machined to fit the bellhousing hole. I believe the snout on the bearing retainer needs to be turned down to accept the GM throwout bearing. Novaks instructions were easy to follow. Check out their site, thay have a lot of info available online. http://www.novak-adapt.com/ It's one of the best upgrades you can do for trail use.
