Body Mounts???

    I Have A 45 Mb That I Am Beginning Resto On, While Looking Under The Jeep I Noticed The Mounting System I A Little Questionable. It Looks As Though Some One Welded 1x1 Sq. Tubing To The Frame And The Body Was Riveted To The Tubes. I Cant Imagine This Being Correct. Can Anyone Tell Me What Mounts Were Used Or Maybe How Many. Thanx For The Help.

    The mounts are similar in idea to all of the CJ's, but they were some type of rubber squares. Pieces of tires were often substituted. You can get the correct replacements from a lot of the normal suppliers.

    You might check out www.g503.com, lots of info on the MB's and GPW's there.

    I get all mine from www.dlbensinger.com for my M-models same thing for my cj5s.. he is located in Pa. you wont find a cheaper set and very easy to follow directions...
