You've got what looks like a Hydrovac, was an option. I'm thinking should be one line from the master cylinder to the cylinder on it, then from it to the brake line. Looks like you have 2 lines showing in the 1st picture?

Might try searching with Google. 3B page has some info but it won't come up. I've never tried searching for info but pretty sure there's plenty out there.

Just parts to rebuild for my Jeep later. Distributor, carb/carb pieces, oil cleaner pan, hard lines, fuel pump, voltage regulator, hose clamps, etc. All original style needed for resto. Also looking for straght M38A1 bumper, good "willys" speedo, back seat, top rods and bars, 2 little screws for front marker lights, etc. Any original parts for a '55 really. Any help is greatly appreciated. CJ

I plumbed one of those hydro-vacs into the stock system on my '56 before I switched over to 4-wheel discs. It worked great. I first bench tested the brake pressure on my stock system then tested it again after the booster was hooked up. I can't remember the numbers now but it was much better. Noticeably better braking. They are in junkyards and I've since seen them on ebay for about $50.00.
