   I am (a little at a time ) wire wheeling the frame. The steering knuckle surface on the axle has some minor rust where the knuckle seal will rub. What is the best way to "polish" these up without messing the surface up to the point of not sealing well?

   FSM says to use some emory cloth, there's some info here I think on what other people have done if it's pitted too deeply as well.
