Well here is a picture of my project. 67 jeepster with Cj5 front. lifted 8 inches. 73 3/4 ton chevy full width front 44 with high steer, 1 ton steering rods/ends, 4.10s, locker, disk brakes on bald swampers 38.5/15.5/16.5. Rear is a full width 1 ton 14 bolt ff with 4.10s gov lock and dick brakes. running 7 inch fender flares and they still arnt wide enough!!! Anyway here are some pics. engine is my new 231/225 built combo with T150 and dana 20. Do you think the jeep is too wide? I thinking another 3 inch lift for some extra height. Let me know what you think.

Those are some wicked big pictures.......can you make them just a little smaller?

Great looking project. Not sure if I would go much taller unless the tires start rubbing.

I think it has the making to be a good looking jeep but I could appreciate the pics a little more if they were smaller as mentioned above.

Is it for mud or rocks? If its for the rocks I would wheel it before putting onymore lift on it. If its for mud I say put the 3 inches on.

okay so last night I tried to take it out for the inagural ride. I couldnt get the clutch to dissengage. I ajusted my linkage all the way in and still nothing. Any ideas. Im thinking maybe the fork/throwout bearing is stuck or jammed.

Just wondering why you used 225 heads on a 231? 231 heads flow better. I was planning on doing just the opposite with 231 heads on a 50 over 225, basicly building a 231 odd fire.

I bought the engine already assembled this way so Im not sure why they built it with 225 heads. Maybe they had some sitting around with the intake.

Well so I took it out yesterday for the second time. The brakes work great now, the break lock and the brake light pressure switch work great too. Also the clutch issues are way better, soft pedal pressure is nice on the peadl and cable floor mount.

    So whats left?
I need to build a bellcrank system cause I cant get enought throw in the clutch cable to get it adjusted right.
I have a small radiator leak, I need to get it fixed at a radiator shop. The only other problem is a small oil leak comming from the rear of the engine.

Any ideas on a bellcrank design, with a clutch type cable?
