    Hi,
New to site not new to jeeps.

A company called 4 Plus Off Road made a conversion kit for YJ wrangler springs for flat fender jeeps. They closed there doors before I had a chance to order a kit.

I was hoping to find a no brainer conversion for my 1946 CJ2A.

Does anyone know if they were bought out or just closed there doors?

How much of a no brainer are the Holbrook Specialties kits?

I do know that the Holbrook kits are around twice what the 4 Plus kit were.

Are there any other kits out there?

    Thanks for any help.

Holbrooks - took me @ half a day to put them on my Red '51 (the one above). Worth every penny - for the time it saves - the stuff you get - and the results.

I'm with Warloch. My Holbrooks are one of the best things I did for my 2A. The cushie ride and the articulation are great. I can even hold an adult beverage in my lap and not look like I wet my pants when we go wheeling.

I too was really interested in the 4 Plus manufacturing sprung under yj spring shackle reversal kit. In digging through old JP magazines I was able to get their number and call them. But, as you stated they have put the business up for sale and will not sell their remaining stock, because they want to transfer the inventory to the future buyer!!! THAT SUCKS!!

I really wanted to use their kit which provides 3 inches sprung under with some 1.5" old man EMU rear YJ springs all the way around for total of 4.5" and run 33's. I decided that I'll have a local shop FAB the 3" YJ conversion shackle reversal kit for me and go that route. shouldn't be that expensive considering all the pieces are available from M.O.R.E just a matter of correct measuring and professional welding.:v6:

I actually have a M.O.R.E. stubby shackle reversal kit I bought to use on my CJ7. Maybe I could make it work on the 2A.

I am trying to figure out the best way to lift mine too. I talked to Bob Suplee (405-799-8977) His price shipped to me was 533 for a 2.5" superlift.

Talked to four wheel parts wholesalers, and they offered a 2.5" for 561, and a 4" for 619. both kits included shocks and were shipped free.

Can't get holbrooks webpage to come up right now, but seems like the last time I checked there flatty lift was a little better than 700 bones. And I don't think that included shocks.....

The Holbrook springs are more expensive but worth every penny. They give much smoother ride than any other lift springs that I've seen and articulate very well. Nickmil.
