messing with a new tire carrier design

    and am needing some dimensions if anyone happens to have any handy. I'm not near my Jeep, otherwise I'd just measure some things. But, what I'm needing is the distance between the frame rails (at the rear bumper) for a '53 M38-A1 (any early CJ I'd think would be the same) and also the width on the rear panel between the corners of the tub I guess. That make any sense? Where a tailgate would go. Maybe that is a little more clear. Anyone happen to have those handy?

    These measurements came off a 67 CJ5. Center to Center on the framerails= 27 1/2" Tailgate opening = 35 3/4"

    Here is a lay out I did. The dotted lines are the actual dimensions of the
    rear of the my CJ. Hope it helps.
