Any place to get used sets?... Im having a hard time justifying $260/fender for chinese remakes, and the NOS are 300+ This isnt going to be a show jeep so I am not worried about perfection.

they some up time to time. Maybe get a set of fiberglass ones, they come up also and are cheaper, given you have to do a bit mor ework to get them to fit at times. You will find metal one snow and then, i got a pretty good set and am working on them now before paint. i think i got them for about $100

didnt know they made them, as i have not seen them yet, That would be much more reasonable for now. I'm just planning on smoothing the rough stuff as the body is solid except for the rear crossmember and painting it up. Install the driveline and get the brakes and lights working and drive it.

I saw an old military car at a show once in its original condition (it did run) and I thought it was the best one there as it looked like it had been in a war (because it had)

Jeep CJ/YJ/TJ's in boneyards in Michigan are gone as whole units before anyone knows they were in the yard then parted out across e-bay and jeep boards, whats left of them after the rust anyway. I know of 2 YJ's in a yard right now, and one was sold as a whole unit before i could get some parts off of it, I usually check local yards every couple months.

I posted up on local boards to to no success, I think I will try locating some fiberglass ones, and hope no one leans on them. That may be better for my purpose anyway.

What model Jeep are you needing fenders for? There's two Jeep salvage places here in the Denver area I can think of offhand, FNJeep in Colorado Springs and Jeeps Unlimited in Ft. Lupton. Probably others as well.

You might also try Jeep Panels Plus. Look 'em up on the web at www.jeepanelsplus.com and get the phone number, website is broke. This is a small-time mom and pop operation that makes their own Jeep parts in the USA to compete with the imported crap. I'm gonna get my rear floor from them.
