Everything I read about using shoulder/lap belts with stock low back seats cautions against this. I know Boyink did this installation - anyone else? Pros/cons? Has anyone modified the stock seats for a headrest? (pics?) Didn't have anything else to do - thought I'd open a can of worms! R) :)

I read all those too....but figured w/o a collapsable steering column the shoulder belts were still better than just lap belts.

Also seems like the late 60's early 70's cars often had bench seats, no headrests and shoulder belts.

I can see no reason why the over the back, 4-point type of rig would not work with low-back seats. I was considering this myself.

    Nice jeep by the way..
