New here...but many of you may know me...I am the owner of the Florida Jeepers site...a lot of you hung out with us a little while when your site was down or being updated.

    Anyway, I am not a current Commando owner...but I came real close today...almost bought 2 of them...a 68 and a 69.

I was curious though, after looking at those Commandos today...

Is there a good source of floor pans and body panels for those rigs out there?

There are some panels avaialbe from online outlets, but they are about it. no AmixAda stuff for it. Alos of other stuff is also kind of rare, so usually you get a running jeepster and have a partster around to rob it. I guess you looked in the classifiees the one guy psoted about them. They are very cool. ride like a cadilac :)

    Hi also new here,
I am not a current Commando owner but looked at a 68 :v6: today.had been sitting for 4 years under a tarp, has lots of extra parts, I have never done any body work but with all the flat panels I think it would be a good place to learn, basically the rockers have the most rust or the least amount of metal that can have rust, other than that it looks good, opened up the hood and the owner pointed out the mouse LOL maybe I will go back look it over again take some pics and probably argue with myself weather to take on the project or not either way I will win
Just have to figure out a way to get it home, out of the guys back yard without tearing up his nice lawn, load in a trailer and out without a winch
