CJ-5 Front Drive Line Length? & Slip Yoke Play

I have a CJ5 with aftermarket springs, reverse shackle, shackle lift, and SOA done by the PO. My front drive shaft has way to much play at the slip yoke and needs to be rebuilt but I do not know if it is long enough. When sitting in a parked position about 1/8" of the splines are showing. With the reverse shackle I understand that the shaft is compressed, of which there appears to be about 6 or 7 inches of travel. Is it ok to have the 1/8" of splines showing at rest? Thanks

 

sounds like it may be to long at rest the slip joint should be about centered
