Hood Mounted High Lift

    I am not sure where to post this so I will put it here. On my afternoon stroll around the parking lot I noticed newer Jeep that had a high lift jack mount on the hood. The mount used the bolts for the hood hinge. The only markings on the mounts were the letters KC cut into the brackets. Anyone know anything about this mount?

    Put it in the intermediates section since I assume you want it for your intermediate. ;)

    Yeah, they've been posted here. Actually, I think I may have posted them. They work on our old CJs too. But I can't remember right now where I saw them. I'm thinking 4WD Hardware.

    That's an idea that's also easy to make. Don't know if I want to give up dropping the w/s though.

    I just can't bring myself to mount mine to the hood. I'm gonna find a way to mount it to the tire carrier I guess.

    The hood in a great place to put the Jack.........but putting the windsheild down is important to me.

    That's my plan also. After Dan's finished w/ mine!! For now I made a couple
    of brackets and mounted it over the rear wheel wells @ the tailgate. Works
    pretty good. And it's lockable.

    Left a note on the windshield of the Jeep with the hood mounted high lift asking who made it. Got an e-mail this morning from the guy saying it was made by KC Hi-Lites and he ordered it from 4-Wheel Drive Hardware.
