I got these with my JEEP but never found anywhere to put them...on the JEEP I mean. They seem to fit the axle housings or maybe a roll bar?

They look like the snubber brackets (what I call them) that go on the passenger side of the frame. The front axle has an arm on the short side of the axle with a snubber on them, when the front axle is compressed to far the snubber hits this bracket and stops further travel keeping the front driveshaft from getting into the starter on the v6 models. My 71 has one on it and a friends cj6 has it. Never seen one on a 4 cylinder model but it may be that they were to old to have them mounted on them.

Ain't that the bump stop bracket for the front end?:? I had to grind on that stupid thing because my tires would catch it on turns. Todds brackets look a little different.

My pictures don't show it well but the rounded section is at about a 45 degree angle to the flat side.

I believe those brackets qualify for that category.

Look like lower steering column brackets to me. Possibly from a different application to mount the column to the floor? The column could be clamped between the two half-round sections then bolts through the holes in the bracket and through the floor. Kinda reaching here but.......

not really a reach that's the first thing I thought they looked like. Column support for a 72-75 model? Probably not but the first thing that came to my mind.
