I need some help, here goes the long story. The cj6 I bought came with 2 trans housings, a T-90 and a T-86. The T-90 gears are in the T-86 housing. I have the adapter for the T-86. The gears from the T-86 are in bad shape, and I do not think they can be used. There is also a large diameter input shaft stamped T-90AA and a smaller shaft stamped T-86. The input shaft T-86 fits my clutch splines. Is there any information about the gear swap, to give the exact information on what input gear and adapter to use. I need a new input shaft, though I dont now which one to purchase. I think a used, rebuildable T-86 would be my best option. I have the tooth counts and can take pics. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Mike:? P.S. this is a V6 model.
