a few more questions

i havent been back on here in a whyle ... jeep has been doing well ... till now ... i put in a new alt, it seems to work fine at high rpm .. and it seems to drain the batt at idle... im not running the alt light. i hear there is a resistor you can put onto the alt to make it charge at idle .. im needing some help in this department.

also

i need a new carb .. i was thinking about a 500 cfm Thunder Series AVS Carb from edlebrock. i have a edlebrock torker intake and right now im running an old carter afb 600cfm. im just looking for better gas mileage and an all around better carb , any ideas if the 500 is too little ? or should i stick with a 600 ..
