    would anybody by chance have a wiring diagram for a '73 CJ-5 w/ 304 V8 scanned?

Been searching for a repair manual locally for this thing, and have yet had no luck......even though AutoZone says they will have some in by saturday

You can also get wiring diagrams from autozone as well. Load your vehicle in and it will get you there.

I have the schematic style from the factory manual for a 1974 if you need it as well.

2serius, I just picked up a '74 on Sunday and could use that schematic. I would appreciate it.

    Thanks

IIRC the wiring changed a lot in '74, when Jeep went from inline fuses to a fuse panel. May not be so useful for a '73.

They did not go to a fuse panel until 75. My 3 74's have all have had inline fuses. IIRC there are like 4 or 5 of them. Lighter, blinkers, breaklights, heater and maybe ignition. Not 100% on what circuits are fused though.

welp, after just pulling the dash and seeing the carnage behind it (wiring nightmare) i'll most likely be building a new harness from scratch

on another note, i had posted awhile ago about play in the steering......found 2 cracks in the frame, cobbled together steering shaft and a completely missing steering coloumn bearing.......

    the fun never ends R)

Pix a bit later today :coffee:

I tried attaching the scanned files, but apparently they are a little too big as a JPEG. If I shrink them, they may not be as legible. Any tips? I'll try again tomorrow

Here they are. I had to shrink them to 640 x640 to meet attachment requirements.

    Good Luck!
