I'm afraid the days of rebuilding fuel pumps is about over. You may be able to find a kit somewhere, I couldn't. Besides, a rebuilt pump is pretty cheap.

i think thats kinda dumb, its sooo easy to rebuild one, might just be a profit thing...

BTW whats yall thoughts on a electric fuel pump? i really dont think its nessary, and thought it might override the needle and flood out. does anyone know, MAX G.P.H. or PSI the carb can take before it floods out? i really dont know what the carb requires. thanks josh

man im getting so close i can actually taste the raw-hydro-carbons:cry:

Motorcycle? :? I was talkin' about Honda cars.

Since I obviously have no idea what you're referring to, which Jeep engine are you referring to on your fuel pump??

I went with an electric in my 134F w/solex, just to break it in and I have not got around to changing it, the pump says 5-9lbs of pressure and it works fine, I understand the pressure required is around three pounds, it does not override the needle and seat no problems at all, thats why it has not been changed out yet, I guess you could use a fuel pressure regulator if needed but by the time you buy the pump and regulator you will spend twice what a mechanical will cost I did price a new mechanical at O'Rileys for 35 bucks and Im going to put it on when I get to it just to keep it semi original..........Vic
