Has anyone used RE on their brake drums, if so, how well did they hold up?

Eastwood sells brake drum/caliber coating and paint that’s heat rated at 250 and 900 respectively while the RE is rated at 400 degrees.

i used POR15 (a similiar product) on my drums. they've been on the jeep for about a month now. i imagine it'll hold up fine, but i won't know for sure for a few more months. all the jeep is used for now is plowing. no high speed stopping. the drums won't see any heat for a while.

It's been on about a month and is in fine shape. Of course the drums aren't on the Jeep yet. :D

I used plain old black rustoleum on the rear drums. A little faded after several years but otherwise ok.

I used flat black stove paint on my drums, three years later it looks brand new.

I used hammerite on mine as well - and I've actually driven mine. Haven't looked too close on how it's holding up. I'll take a peek tonight.

I used Rust Encapsulator. The Frame off restoration is not finished yet so I dont know how well it will hold up. It seems to be good stuff though.

Mine have been painted for nine months and looks as good as when I put it on! :D: but my Jeep hasn't been on the road yet! I'll let you know when I get a few heat cycles in them:rofl:!
