Welcome from Ohio slade! Don't worry, several other regulars here don't know how to type either. R)

On the lift...it may depend on where you live because shipping $$ for springs is purty high. BDS or 4WD Hardware advertise 2.5" lifts for very reasonable prices. I just bought 4WD's lift kit...primarily 'cuz it's close by and I saved the shipping $$$.

How about a pic or 2 of your rig? :)

Welcome from Maryland! I have a 66' cj5 in the beginning stages of restoration. I'm looking at a 2.5" lift also and 31" MT baja claws, plus lots of rust removal. Good Luck.

I really like the front bumper-mounted trail towel. Is that stock?

Western Maryland, Rocky Gap State Park has some good trails. It's been years since i've been out with my x 90' Wrangler (sold in 1999.) CJ5 is still not trail ready, early stages of resto. I would also appreciate any heads up from the local CJ's about trails.
