oddfire hei

    i have a 1970 cj-5 with the oddfire 225 v-6.
    can i install an evenfire hei dist and just change the cap?

    you could install an evenfire distribtor and change the crank... but it's somewhat easier to replace the internals of the distribtor or find an odd fire hei distributor. and before you ask, i've forgotten which years used the oddfir hei.

    I know mine came out of a Chevy Monza, 1975 I think.
