I have a gas leak I've had trouble finding. I have replaced hoses, made sure everything is tight and it still leaks. It looked like it was coming from one of the hoses from the fuel pump. But its not. It only leaks sometimes after it has been run for a while and shut off. Today when I got home from work it had been shut off a while and started leaking. Its been hard to catch it while its leaking but, I think its coming from a hair-line crack in the fuel pump. What would cause this? Any suggestions on the best place to get a new one?
    Thanks!
    Andy

Wish I were there to help you troubleshoot.

Anyhoo, you're looking for a 226 V6 pump, right? Krage Motosports has one:

You could try Vintage Jeep supply also.
David is a good guy. 866-418-5337 or 615799-9882
He is just outside of Nashville.
    Krage is out near Memphis.

On the leaking fuel pump it could be where the two halves are crimped that has a gasket, the wear out just anything else. ;)

    Thanks!
I checked at some local stores and no one had one. I even called a JEEP specialist here in Chattanooga and he said thats the first time he has ever been asked for one of those in (I think he said) 20 years! He said there just isn't that many :v6: still around and running. Anyway, I ordered one from Krage. I have had good luck with them in the past. Hopefully that will take care of my leak!
    Thanks again!

I got my new one at a local NAPA, cost about $25 or so, when I bought it about a year ago.

Ditto when I replaced mine on the Commando.

Not that many 225s around? Wonder how many we have here?

I called NAPA they didn't have it. I think they could have ordered it. What brand did you get?
